Every single summer day in Rayim is a wonderful adventure; exciting, structured, and filled with pure healthy clean fun! But aside from the regular day’s events, we always look for ways to surprise our campers with unusual and unpredictable fantastic special events. Some of our most successful and popular events have included; Rayim Carnival, Ice Cream Party, Lakeside Campfires, Poolside BBQs, Neighborhood Day, Ice Skating, Bowling, Olympics, and Color War!

Our most exciting events include talented people in the Torah World who bring their workshops to our campers and open up new worlds in understanding different principles of the Torah. These include a Shochet and his tools, a Rov with his replica of the Beis Hamikdash and its vessels, Tzitzis making, Safrus, and even an emotional personal life story told by a Ger to the entire camp.

Although the vast expanse and sheer enormity of Camp Rayim’s facility affords our campers endless recreational activity, we do hit the highways each month and broaden our horizons.

Some of our many spectacular excursions have included: Whitewater Rafting, Zume Fluming, Roller Coasting, Water Parking, and Sports Worlding.

Camp Rayim’s drama and music divisions produce fabulous productions throughout the summer season. Here, our campers are always offered the opportunity to express their own creativity by participating in these events. Major plays and musical performances, all evolving around different Torah themes, are presented weekly in a most professional manner.

We are extremely proud of our learning program. We recruit professional, experienced Rebbeim from the most prestigious Yeshivos who instruct our children in a wonderful structured setting. Our Rebbeim present our campers with positive motivation, creative and imaginative techniques, and a warm personal relationship with every single student.

Of course, positive motivation can always use a helping hand. Camp Rayim is always there to provide the right ingredients for a rewarding program. Whether it be prizes, raffles, awards, trips, our children know that their efforts to grow as Bnei Torah will not go unnoticed.

From early in the morning at our very popular “Cocoa Club” where children begin their day voluntarily learning Mishnayos to our voluntary Night Seder, no part of the day goes by without Torah and Middos Tovos radiating a warm glow over all our camp activities.

Davening in our beautiful Beis Medrash is a wonderful spectacle to behold. Many Roshei Yeshiva, Torah Leaders, Parents and Yeshiva Bochurim who have had the opportunity to daven with us could not resist praising effusively the decorum, edelkait, and sanctity they felt during the Tefiloh. Middos contests, a Shabbos Tish, guest Gedolim, Melave Malkos, a Kumzits, beautiful Zmiros and a host of many other Ruchnius programs too long to list all add up to a summer of Torah growth for each and every camper.

Being away from home is an adjustment, no matter how great camp life is. Little things can make a big difference in how easily a camper adjust to camp life and how comfortable he is. We put an emphasis on the little things such as captain beds with ample storage underneath.  Privacy partitions in the bunkhouses are a nice touch and make camp living pleasant and warm.  Spacious porches, plenty of cubby space, and well-lit, air-conditioned rooms all add to the quality of life.

Cleanliness is critical to the happiness and well being of our campers. Visitors are amazed at how spotless the campgrounds are kept! We are the only camp to have both, showers in every single bunk as well as a beautiful, modern private shower house for the “Erev Shabbos overload!”

Good health cannot be stressed enough. A camp must have qualified medical personnel and an adequate medical facility. At Camp Rayim we provide not one, but two highly qualified EMT’s on-premises as well as having a doctor on call at all times should the need arise.

Our camp infirmary is extensive, a large building exclusively for this purpose with all the necessary equipment and facilities to ensure our campers stay healthy.

Children need good abundant food, especially in the summer with all the physical activity! The quality of the food at Camp Rayim is legendary!

We concentrate on providing a proper balance of nutrition as well as incorporating a menu that caters to what our campers’ taste buds are familiar with from home.

Many Campers have told us that Rayim food is not camp food! It’s as good as home! (Some said even better!)
